Creating cultures that are truly diverse, inclusive, equitable, and just is not an easy task. Many organizations operate from a set of age-old norms that are deeply ingrained and mostly unexamined.
Yet, change is possible.
It starts with each one of us, as individuals, committing to doing the work.
Change happens from the inside out, as we take stock of our own filters, assumptions, and unconscious biases; and it happens from the outside in, as we fiercely interrogate the systems and structures that keep the status quo in place.
