Gina Paigen is a professional coach, consultant, and facilitator; passionate about guiding individuals, teams and organizations to a deeper sense of purpose, and to higher levels of creativity, engagement, and inspired action.
She brings a wealth of diverse knowledge and experience in executive coaching, leadership, diversity, equity and inclusion work, mindfulness, business development, team and culture building, strategic planning, entrepreneurship, neuroscience, creative studies, and the arts.
Gina works with her clients to maximize their talent, create dynamic and inclusive cultures, break down silos, build high-performing teams, and deliver a healthy ROI. Her initiatives are oriented around the real-world experiences of her clients and are directly linked to their performance objectives and desired outcomes.
Gina’s experience with a wide range of clients, from West African immigrants to World Bank executives, has given her a true appreciation for the value diversity can bring to an organization, and as part of her commitment to multicultural work, she had the honor of designing and facilitating the “Blue Sky” project, bringing Israeli and Palestinian women together in dialogue.
Prior to stepping into the arena of talent development arena, Gina worked as a musician, photographer and stage designer, and then spent 17 years as CEO of a multi-million-dollar historic restoration company which she built from the ground up with little more than a telephone and a box of business cards.
Having honed her own special blend of creativity and business acumen, Gina is uniquely qualified to assist organizations and their leaders tap into their own entrepreneurial spirit. As a business coach, she has inspired a myriad of other entrepreneurs, serving as a program designer, facilitator and mentor at the SUNY Buffalo Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership.
Gina’s has worked across industries, in for-profit and non-profit, and from high-tech, bio-tech and academia, to agriculture and construction. Gina’s list of credits includes UNICEF, Eli Lilly, MIT/Sloan, Allegiant Air, Jackson Lab, World Bank, Royal Bank of Canada, Plato’s Closet, and The Creative Problem-Solving Institute.
Gina holds three professional ICF accredited coaching certifications, including one in neuroscience and coaching. She is a certified practitioner of the Leadership Circle Profile™, FourSight, and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. She has completed the Coaches Training Institute’s intensive Leadership and Leadership Way programs, she is trained in Creative-Problem Solving, and contemporary spiritual practice. Gina is a dynamic presenter, a TEDx speaker, and she has been published in The Huffington Post.
Dr. Christopher Chambers joined Providence College in 2018 as an assistant professor of sociology.
Dr. Chambers earned a B.A. in Political Science from Drew University, a M.A. in College Student Personnel from the University of Maryland, a M.A. in Sociology from the University of Florida and Ph.D. in Sociology from Texas A&M University.
Dr. Chambers has a wealth of experience in higher education including 12 years in Student affairs at Drew University, the University of Maryland, Dartmouth College and Duke University.
During that time he worked in such functional areas as residence life, multicultural education, leadership education and at Duke’s Mary Lou Williams Center for Black Culture.
Prior to joining the full-time faculty at Providence College, he spent 10 years as an Assistant Teaching Professor at Northeastern University teaching courses in Introductory Sociology, Race and Ethnic Relations, Race Class and Gender, the Sociology of Sexualities, Critical Race Theory, Race and Social Identity and Introduction to African American Studies. At Northeastern he also served as Director of Undergraduate Programs for the Department of Sociology and Anthropology.
Dr. Chambers’ research uses an intersectional lens to study individual and collective black identities and seeks to highlight the ways that gender and sexuality influence those processes. His work examines the ways various ideologies, cultural norms, interpretations, and experiences of racism and anti-racist struggle influence the direction and content of Blackness. At the same time, his research attempts to shed light on the inconsistencies, paradoxes, tensions and diversity of Black life as it is lived in the context of racial hierarchy in America.
Dr. Chambers’ writing focuses on social theories of racism and on black gay men’s identities.
At Providence College, Dr. Chambers teaches undergraduate classes in Introduction to Sociology, Social Theory and Race, Class and Gender.
Latise Hairston is a global transformative leader who guides, empowers, and assists people in developing creative solutions to life’s challenges.
She has counseled and coached hundreds of individuals, leaders, and organizations in the government, non-profit, and corporate sectors, including one of the world’s largest hospitality companies. She designs, manages, and facilitates enterprise-wide innovative solutions around strategic planning, change management, and leadership.
Latise is also the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of HOPE Consulting. She specializes in creative problem solving, instructional design, diversity, equity and inclusion, training/facilitation, leadership, and organizational development. Additionally, she is an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Business, Management, and Leadership at Medaille College. Latise began her career working in various roles within child welfare, advocating for children and families.
Latise holds an M.S. in Counseling, M.S. in Creativity and Change Leadership, and a Ph.D. in Leadership and Policy (with a concentration in Organizational Development). Latise is a certified professional coach through the International Coaching Federation, DISC Behavioral Analysis Trainer & Consultant, and FourSight facilitator, among other certifications. Latise has presented at numerous conferences and is a published researcher.
When working with organizations, Latise’s strategy for success is to establish a learning community, an environment in which there is partnership and collaboration; a commitment to productive, creative, and useful time together, and a willingness to take risks and learn from each other. Using a multitude of tools, techniques, and focus areas, she inspires and encourages leaders to shift from a fixed mindset, when needed, to a growth mindset.
When not working, Latise enjoys trying new things, traveling on new adventures, and eating different cuisine. This has led to her traveling to places such as Morocco, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Ghana, and multiple countries in the Caribbean. Latise has a heart for people and the community. She volunteers with the Restorative Justice Coalition in Buffalo, NY, where she resides.
Duane Wilson is a leader of leaders and a change agent whose current focus is designing and implementing cultural shifts that advance equity and inclusion while increasing productivity. Duane has more than 25 years’ experience helping organizations achieve their goals by bringing creativity, clarity, and structure to complex and challenging problems.
In his role as a thought leader to nonprofits and community organizations, Duane works closely with his clients to identify and articulate a clear mission and vision, find emerging opportunities for growth, and develop and launch strategic plans.
Currently, Duane serves Chief Operating Officer (COO) for nine locations of the Boys and Girls Club of St. Joseph County, Indiana where he oversees the organization’s day-to-day operations and leads the implementation of new strategic initiatives around process, technology and culture.
Duane’s consulting experience includes 10 years at the University of Notre Dame where he provided internal consulting services for enterprise-wide continuous improvement and innovation projects. As a Leans/Six Sigma Black Belt/Design for Six Sigma (DSS) and a Certified Change Management Professional, he blends research, creative analysis, evidence-based processes, and human-centered solution design in his problem-solving work.
Duane is currently President of the Board of the Creative Education Foundation (CEF) and the Creative Problems Solving Institute, a position which allows him to train innovators from around the globe.
He holds a B.S. in Social Psychology and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership, and he has served 13 years in the U.S. Air Force, both stateside and abroad.
Leonid Frolov, CPCC, is a highly-sought after coach, trainer and leadership facilitator who works with a variety of private individuals, groups and organizations. He is passionate about bringing the topic of cultural fluency into the leadership conversation, particularly in multicultural environments.
Leonid holds a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) certification through The Coaches Training Institute (CTI), and is a graduate of their Leadership program. In addition to his private practice, Leonid serves as a member of the certification faculty at CTI.
In partnership with COPE, Leonid is co-designer and facilitator of a program that provides coaching for employees of the World Bank and their spouses. He is also co-founder of the Crossing Borders with Confidence partnership, which launched in September of 2014 at the International Student House in Washington D.C.
Leonid is an engaging public speaker who brings his own rich life experience to his audience. His involvement with language and literature has given him a deep appreciation for the art of storytelling and he has recently launched his own storytelling event.
Leonid considers himself a true “culture vulture”. Prior to coaching, he ran his own successful interpretation and translation business for 18 years and then joined International Launch Services as a senior interpreter. In that capacity, he traveled the world gaining experience with a myriad of cultures, and his role naturally expanded to cultural consulting and mentoring. He has a deep knowledge of a broad spectrum of cultures in the Americas, Eastern and Western Europe, Asia and the South Pacific.
Leonid grew up in Russia where he received a B.S. in geology from St. Petersburg Mining Institute and worked on two geological expeditions in the Russian Far East and Central Asia. He later received a Masters in Linguistics from St. Petersburg State University, and upon graduation, was invited to join the faculty as an English and French language professor at St. Petersburg State Institute of Trade and Economics.
Leonid has direct personal experience with upheaval and change. The first major life change came when he set out on his own and moved to the U.S. to start his own interpretation and translation business. Twenty years later he made another leap of faith and entered the field of professional coaching. He is committed to his own development, and continues to explore opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Leonid has a passion for dancing and acting (he danced in Russia for 17 years, from the age of 6), and he performed a central role at the Carnegie Hall world premiere of an operatic tableau.
Leonid is an active member of International Coaches Federation (ICF) and currently makes his home in Washington, DC.
At the age of nine, Indy Batth and her family immigrated to Vancouver from India via a seven-year stopover in England. Having grown up “caught between cultures,” she now finds herself compelled to work for equity, inclusion, and social change.
Indy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Master of Arts in Education from the University of British Columbia. She spent much of her early career in academia, working to enhance student experiences, and through that gained expertise in the effective design and delivery of educational programming.
In 2002, Indy was introduced to coaching and has since gone on to become a Certified Executive Coach through Royal Roads University.
Indy is fascinated with the field of learning and human development. Her work integrates the latest in neuroscience, positive psychology, change management theory and social justice. She is grounded in her own wisdom and intuition, and is deeply committed to exploring social responsibility, transformational leadership, transition and change, cultural fluency, diversity and wellness with her clients (as it pertains to both their personal and professional lives). She has the capacity to engage in powerful, heart-centered conversations that taps her clients’ potential, opens them to new perspectives and ultimately leads them to committed action in the direction of their goals and objectives. Indy has been called a compassionate change catalyst.
Indy is pursuing her certification as a Transformational Neuroscience Coach (CTNC) through BeAbove Leadership. Originally from Vancouver, BC, she currently lives in Toronto, Ontario.
Mike Hutchins, CPCC, brings a unique combination of talents to his work as a coach and organizational development specialist; blending his early training as a CPA / Chartered Accountant with a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, a coaching certificate, leadership training and a passion for theater and improvisation.
Mike has chalked up over 15 years consulting experience with Price Waterhouse Cooper, IBM Business Consulting and KPMG; where he focused on change management, organizational and instructional design, strategy, program management and leadership development.
Mike has significant international experience, particularly in the Middle East and Africa, and he is fluent in Spanish, French and English. Over the years, his clients have included Vodafone, Safaricom, O2, Telefonica, Orange, BBC, Wolseley, National Health Service, Novo Nordisk, Alliance UniChem, Cemex, AECOM and Saudi Telecom.
Mike is a Certified Co-Active Coach (CPCC), specializing in executive coaching, a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) Leadership Program, a certified practitioner of The Leadership Circle Profile and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
As an avid student of improvisational theater, Mike loves to act, and he has a passion for bringing acting principles into the world of business.
Mike typically divides his time between the U.S. and the UK, and he is currently writing his first novel, “The Theater of your Mind”.
Chris Neilands, CPCC, PCC, is a leadership coach and consultant with more than 20 years of experience supporting the personal and professional growth of others. Her focus is on working with individuals and teams committed to expanding their personal and collective leadership potential.
Chris has experience with a wide range of organizational clients; Fortune 500 companies, small to mid-sized companies, educational institutions and non-profits. She enjoys working with a diverse range of clients; from full-time MBA students to entry level supervisors to senior level executives. Chris’ approach to development is oriented around increasing self-awareness, crafting a leadership vision, developing a plan with concrete action steps and deliverables, and holding clients accountable to bring the plan to fruition. She is known for her personalized service and her passionate commitment to her client’s growth.
Chris’ transition to leadership coaching and consulting was born out of her own leadership experience in university settings where she spent 16 years in marketing, career management and leadership development; first for the MBA program at Purdue and then for the MBA program at the University of Georgia. In those positions she was responsible to lead teams and manage projects that required building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Chris currently manages the leadership coaching component for the MBA programs at the Terry College of Business and has served in a coaching capacity at that institution for the past six years.
Chris also spent five years as a human resource consultant with Lincoln Financial Corporation where she provided human resource expertise to line managers on a range of issues; recruiting, staffing, training, performance management and employee relations.
She has designed and delivered workshops, training programs and distance learning content on a variety of topics related to leadership and talent development.
Chris earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management and Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from Purdue University. She completed a rigorous coach training program through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC). She is also certified as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Chris is a certified practitioner in a number of assessment tools including: The Leadership Circle Profile, The Leadership Circle Culture Survey, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Strong Interest Inventory.
When she isn’t working, Chris enjoys rowing her boat on the Chattahoochee, hiking and climbing in beautiful parks and discovering new places off the beaten path. She resides in Atlanta, GA.
